Choosing the Right Industrial Gas Regulator:  When selecting an industrial gas regulator, consider the variation in inlet pressure supply. The supply pressure effect (SPE) refers to how a regulator adjusts to changes in high-pressure supply.

Single-Stage Regulators: Suitable for applications with relatively constant inlet pressure.

Two-Stage Regulators: Ideal for applications with large variations in high-pressure supply, providing stable low-pressure delivery.

Piston-Type Gas Pressure Regulators: Recommended for outlet pressures above 20 bar, where inlet and outlet pressures may be equal to or higher than this value.
